We first sponsored the Best Places to Work in Idaho program in 2008, teaming up with Populus and the Idaho Business Review to encourage organizations to get involved and become a stronger workplace. Since then, the number of companies participating has increased and we have received more good applications than ever before.

The program uses a confidential, independent, in-depth workforce survey created by Populus , which measures several key dimensions of each participating employer’s workplace from both the employer’s view and the workforce’s view:

  1. Employee Growth and Development
  2. Work Environment
  3. Company Management
  4. Compensation and Benefits
  5. Work–Life Balance

Populus ensures complete confidentiality of respondent identities so they can be candid in their responses. Reports are based on dozens of client interviews combined with an analysis of over 12,500 employee surveys from over 100 organizations across a 3-year period—the winners are chosen based on hard data.

I would like to give a shout out to the 20 companies being honored for 2011!   Join us for the Awards Banquet on April 21st from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at The Grove Hotel. For details and to register for the event, click here.
